EU Fuel Prices

Today's pump prices from official government feeds in Portugal, Spain, France, Italy and Germany, inside Claude.

Finds the cheapest diesel, gasoline 95/98 or LPG near a point or in a municipality, district or postcode, and gives national and regional averages, using the price feeds that governments require stations to report to: DGEG (Portugal), the Spanish Ministry for the Ecological Transition, prix-carburants (France) and MIMIT Osservaprezzi (Italy). Germany works with your own free Tankerkönig key. Every result uses the same fields (station, brand, address, coordinates, price in €/L, update time), so fleets, TVDE drivers and logistics planners can compare across borders. Nothing is stored: every call reads the live feed.

FAQ

Where does the data come from?

From the official price feeds that stations must report to: DGEG in Portugal, the Ministerio para la Transición Ecológica in Spain, the DGCCRF prix-carburants feed in France (Licence Ouverte 2.0), MIMIT Osservaprezzi in Italy (IODL 2.0) and, for Germany, Tankerkönig's copy of the MTS-K data (CC BY 4.0). The connector is an independent client, not affiliated with any of them.

How fresh are the prices?

As fresh as the feeds: Spain updates every 30 minutes, France and Germany within minutes of a change, Portugal and Italy whenever the station reports. Each result shows when that price was last updated.

Which fuels are covered?

Diesel, gasoline 95, gasoline 95 E10, gasoline 98 and LPG where the country reports them. Italy has no separate 98 or E10; Portugal has no separate E10; Germany reports diesel, Super E5 and E10 only. The tool says so when a fuel is missing.

Can I search by city name?

Yes, by municipality, district/province/region or postcode, except Germany, whose feed only answers around coordinates. Names are matched ignoring accents and case; fuel_list_areas shows the exact names.

Why do some calls cost 5 cents?

Searching around a point in Portugal or Spain and national averages need the whole national price list for that fuel to be downloaded, so those two tools cost 5 cents. The others cost 2.

Do you store my locations or searches?

No. Nothing is logged, cached or stored; each call goes straight to the government feed and the result goes back to Claude.
