Frotcom

Ask Claude where your vehicles are, how far they drove, who braked hard and what each car burned, straight from Frotcom.

Connects Claude to a Frotcom fleet-management account in read-only mode. See every vehicle's live status, driver, last position and odometer; list trips per vehicle or for the whole fleet with places, distance, driving and idle time; get mileage and driving time per vehicle by day or period; read fuel consumption, idle fuel and refuels; check drivers' licence and tachograph card expiry and their live driving-time counters; review alarms and harsh-driving events; and get a fleet summary that ranks vehicles. Frotcom's 7-day limit per call is handled by splitting longer periods. Nothing is ever changed in Frotcom.

FAQ

Can Claude change anything in Frotcom?

No. Every tool is read-only. The connector never creates, edits or deletes vehicles, drivers, alarms or settings, never sends messages to drivers and never immobilises vehicles. Alarms are read with Frotcom's alarm query, which changes nothing.

How do I get API credentials?

Frotcom issues dedicated API V2 credentials on request. Ask your Frotcom Certified Partner (the company that installed and supports your Frotcom service) for "Frotcom API V2 credentials" for your account. They are not the username and password you use on the Frotcom website or the Fleet Manager app.

What about the drivers' privacy?

Driver phone numbers, emails, home addresses, birth dates, document numbers and logins are never returned. Trips marked private keep their distance and time for mileage totals but never show where they went, and vehicles in privacy mode show no position. Nothing is stored by OpenJack.

Why are some periods split or limited?

Frotcom serves trips and driving events for at most 7 days per call and mileage for under a month. The connector splits longer periods into 7-day windows and merges the results, up to 31 days for trips, events, alarms and the fleet summary, and 92 days for mileage and fuel. Each answer says when a period was split.

Are there limits?

Frotcom allows 10 000 API requests per 15 minutes per company, plus per-user limits per endpoint, and returns at most 2000 alarm records per query. Each OpenJack tool call makes at most 400 Frotcom calls; for large fleets pass a list of vehicles to the fleet summary.

What times are used?

Frotcom stores times in UTC. The connector reads and shows dates in your timezone (Europe/Lisbon by default), so 'yesterday' means your local day.
