Business data · BASE Contratos Públicos
Portuguese public tenders and contracts in Claude: open concursos, who won what, for how much, and by which procedure.
Search open public tenders (anúncios de procedimento) published in the Diário da República, with base price, deadline, CPV codes and the link to the tender documents. With a Portal BASE API token issued by IMPIC, also search awarded contracts reported to the Portal BASE by contracting entity or supplier NIF, read a contract in full (parties with NIF, price, procedure and legal basis, dates, CPV, place, modifications) and summarise spend and top suppliers over up to five years. Entity names such as "Câmara Municipal de Lisboa" are resolved to their NIF automatically.

How to connect
FAQ
Open tenders come from the Diário da República, Série II (procurement announcements), read through the same public JSON endpoints its website uses. Awarded contracts come from the official Portal BASE REST API run by IMPIC. Both are public-sector information that may be reused under Lei 26/2016. The connector is an independent client, not affiliated with INCM or IMPIC.
IMPIC's Portal BASE API requires an access token on every request, and the public base.gov.pt search pages are protected against automated access. Ask IMPIC for an API token and paste it when connecting; without it you can still search and read open tenders.
Yes for contracting entities: names like "Câmara Municipal de Lisboa" or "Metropolitano de Lisboa" are matched to the official issuer name and their NIF is read from their latest procurement notice. Suppliers are searched by NIF; a supplier name works as a filter on an entity's contracts.
No. Contract prices and tender base prices are published without VAT. Spend summaries add up contract prices; contracts with several suppliers count in full for each supplier.
Contract searches cover up to three years per call (one API request per year), summaries up to five years and 20 000 contracts, and say when they stop early. Tender searches read up to 45 notices in full per call and give an offset to continue. Without an entity or supplier NIF, contract search is limited to the last 7 days.
No. Each call queries the official sources live; company names, NIFs and contract data are never cached, logged or stored.
