How to connect
FAQ
CSV (any delimiter, UTF-8 or Windows-1252), JSON and GeoJSON up to 10 MB, and XLSX workbooks up to 5 MB (any sheet). CSV files are streamed: the connector stops as soon as it has the rows you asked for, gives an exact row count for files up to 15 MB and scans at most the first 50 MB when filtering. Old XLS, ODS, ZIP, shapefiles, PDFs and map services (WMS/WFS) are not previewed; you get the download link instead.
Every answer states the dataset's licence as declared by the publisher (most use CC BY 4.0, which requires attribution). When the licence is marked as not specified, check with the publisher before reusing the data.
Most titles and descriptions are in Portuguese, so Portuguese keywords give the best results (accents are optional). You can ask in English; Claude translates the search terms.
No. Searches go straight to the public dados.gov.pt API and files are read on the fly for each request; nothing is cached or saved. The connector is an independent client, not affiliated with dados.gov.pt or AMA/ARTE.
